Teeth whitening is a big deal. People all over are getting their teeth whitened because they all want a bright and beautiful smile. Our Tippit Dental offices in Memorial, Cypress, Brenham and Bellville offer this great cosmetic service to all patients and we make it easy and convenient.
Our dental offices provide in-house and take-home teeth whitening procedures. These two options make it convenient for every patient and they both provide lasting results.
Take-Home Teeth Whitening: Take-home teeth whitening is our most popular form of teeth whitening. It provides results while allowing you to achieve your whitest shade in the comfort of your own home on your own time.
We take impressions of your teeth in order to create custom whitening trays for you to take home. Your trays will fit snugly and hold the professional whitening gel on the surface of your teeth while it works its magic. Simply place a small dose of whitening gel in each tooth receptacle. Use only the recommended amount or it could cause gum irritation.
One of our helpful dentists will advise you on how long to wear your teeth whitening trays for each session. This depends on whether you experience sensitivity and your level of staining.
After a couple of weeks of whitening, you will achieve your brightest shade. We will take a before-and-after color so you can measure the results.
You should hold on to your custom whitening trays for future touch-ups. We carry additional whitening gel in our office if you should run out.
In-Office Teeth Whitening: If you are looking for a brighter smile in a hurry, in-office teeth whitening provides a fast solution for a brighter smile. We start the whitening process in our office. We will place professional strength whitening gel on your teeth. Its powerful bleaching capabilities whiten the stains on and even within your teeth. We can repeat this process several times in one hour until you achieve a whiter smile.
We will send you home with custom whitening trays so you can continue the process and use them for touch-ups. Like our take-home system, we will take a before-and-after shade so you can see how far your smile has come.
Information about Teeth Whitening
While most patients can whiten their teeth without incident or side effects, some patients experience gum irritation or sensitivity. Follow the directions carefully so you can avoid these issues. It may also be necessary to skip a few days in between whitening sessions.
