Dr. Samuel Johnson brings a collaborative, technology forward approach to Tippit Dental Group Livingston. Originally from Dickinson, Texas, he earned his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery at UT Health School of Dentistry in Houston. He further expanded his training through a General Practice Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he refined his skills in oral surgery, complex restorative dentistry, and comprehensive patient care.

Dr. Johnson believes every patient deserves to feel informed, involved, and genuinely listened to. He takes time to understand each person’s concerns and goals, helping them feel welcome and confident throughout their visit. He especially enjoys the constantly evolving technology in dentistry and the way modern tools can improve both comfort and outcomes for patients.

Outside the office, Dr. Johnson enjoys going to fairs, festivals, and concerts with his wife, who isa nurse practitioner working with kidney specialists. His hobbies include reading, running, exploring craft beers, and watching scary movies. He loves karaoke, and he’s surprisingly good at impersonations. Ask him for one next time you see him!
