Dr. Cliff Houston believes a trip to the dentist should feel more like a conversation with someone you trust than a clinical appointment. A native of Austin, Dr. Houston attended the University of Texas before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. His clinical interests include comprehensive care, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, and sedation dentistry, with additional certifications in oral sedation and Botox.

Easygoing and approachable by nature, Dr. Houston enjoys getting to know the person behind the smile. He takes time to listen, explain treatment options, and involve patients in decisions about their care. He especially enjoys working with people who have experienced dental anxiety or difficult visits in the past. Helping those patients become comfortable in the dental chair and ultimately change the way they think about dentistry is one of the most rewarding parts of his work.

Outside the office, Dr. Houston enjoys spending time with his wife, Annat, a foot and ankle orthopedic surgeon, and their son, Levi. Their family also includes Kodiak, a Bernedoodle. An avid Longhorns fan, Dr. Houston stays active through basketball, tennis, golf, fitness, and snowboarding. He loves traveling and exploring new places and has a particular fondness for Costa Rica and Europe.
