I love helping my patients restore and maintain healthy and happy smiles. Our patients are so diverse and interesting, and I believe that they have enriched my life by sharing their unique life experiences with me and my staff. My patients come to see me because they know I will always do what is in their best interest and stand behind my work.

I am a graduate of Trinity University, graduating in 1971, and Baylor College of Dentistry, graduating in 1975. I founded the Tippit Dental Group in 1977, shortly after receiving my dental degree. In the intervening years, I have mentored over 25 dentists serving as associates, including some of the top practitioners in our city.

I was appointed to the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners by then Gov. George W. Bush in 1999. I was elected president of the TSBDE four years later and appointed presiding officer by Gov. Rick Perry in September of 2003.

I am a pilot, an avid hunter and fisherman, and I love to read and travel. I have three children, Trey, Abby, and Holly, and I have been married to my wife, Lesli, since 1977.
